I thought everyone already knew this. Yet the Wii U is still selling like trash. that's what is mind boggling...it has a lot of really good games but it seems like no one really wants it.

Not really all that surprising. Nintendo always has a great exclusives on their systems.

Even without the year head start, the Wii U would still have a sizeable lead.

This is why I still get Nintendo consoles. Their exclusives have always been my favourites, and the pump out a fairly good amount.

This is going to rustle some jimmies for sure. But I'm not really surprised. Most of of the top rated games on the Wii U are exclusives made by Nintendo who know the hardware the best.

Nintendo has the best exclusive lineup by miles imo. Imagine that combined with a similar third party support than the others.

I already knew this but it's nice to see it getting some more attention. While not exactly the same scenario, Wii-U is pretty much the Dreamcast of this generation. In 10 years, it's going to be the coolest retro console ever lol.

The problem is sheer numbers. Whether this analysis is true or not, Sony has made it seem like they are just pushing out a ton of high quality games. That is another reason why the HD remakes or updates are such a brilliant idea. Nintendo should be pushing this really hard. An easy way to fill in game gaps and it should not be too hard for them to remake these games. Expecially on the NX.

This is true and to top it off the PS4 AND the XB1 get all the best 3rd party games as well. And looking at this list you are right I don't see remakes/remasters and they are a part of the PS4/XB1 lirbraires as well. Just like games like SFv and ROTR so yeah while this list does tell a tale it doesn't give the full picture. I mean to be honest as far as exclusives goes Nin has alywas been heads and shoulders above the rest in terms of games IMO. It is just hwile I do enjoy some of those games other just don't appeal to me personally. They appeal to others and make good sales though. But the Wii U just seems to get good games yet the system continues to sell poorly and it is too bad and sad.

Metacritic score 80 or above:
PS4:  128 games
Wii:  56 games

Exclusives doesnt paint the entire picture.
Factor in all the games the system have, and it shows a very differntly.
