Forums - Gaming - Did kojima piss off Konami on purpose?

I believe that the kojima Vs Konami hides a lot of obvious truth's.

I believe that every messed up parts about MgsV and the development behind was a clever scheme by kojima to push Konami to force their hand to break off his contract, he intentionally pissed Konami off to the point where they managed to expose themselves.

The point behind this thread? kojima planned it all out and i felt for sharing my suspicions cuz i got nothing else to do at the moment.

You never know. People do get away with crazy things. However, Konami has let people down as of late. That's definitely no cover up.

But he may have, you really never know.

Kojima is not the only big developer that went away from the company, he's just the best known one.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

It wouldnt surprise me, if he gave back a little of what he got from them.
Treat people bad, surprise surprise, they dont really treat you well either (usually).

I think he wanted out because of being treated badly.
I dont think he started a fight with konami, where the end goal was to get kicked out.

Probably, the guy IS responsible for making an unfinished game and going over budget while at it. The big shift at Konami happened early 2015, by that time MGS5 was already playable from start to finish in alpha state, problems with that game had been there longer.

Oh, it's definitely something to consider. The problem is it's likely to never get any verification so it's wise to work with what we do know and how Konami responded many times. What they did after MGS5 was released and Kojima left couldn't in any way be considered 'good form'. Bad guys don't always wear black but bad deeds need no presentation.

The PS5 Exists.

I disagree. In my eyes, Kojima just went overboard with the budget they had, and was taking too much time to finish Phantom Pain. Add to that that, unlike other employees, Kojima and their team had a better salary, and Konami was not happy with the situation. They'll probably forced them to finish the game as soon as possible, established a deadline and the fallout between both parties led to the disappearance of the former.

I do believe kojima got fed-up with Konami for the obvious reasons, like forcing him to create MgsV in the first place, with who know how badly he was treated during that progress. You can basically track down to where that feud started until the end, and it's not hard to see that it went into kojima's favor in the end, Konami had to bite the dust. I think if Kojima didn't fight back, cleverly as he so did, he would still be around as a asset for mgs and Konami's plan for the  future of the series to become annualized, because the official story changed completely and for a reason, Kojima did what he needed to, so that he could get out of the contract, in Japan you dishonor your name by quitting Jobs or voiding contacts, this way, he got out of it so clean-ish. Can't wait to see if Kojima can create a new universe, cause all we know is that mgs series was nothing but a one hit Wonder, which can damage his future career, he need a new hit to stay relevant as a publishers, so it will exciting to see.

In a way, it wouldn't be a surprise. He wanted to get away from MGS a long time ago, but I doubt Konami gave him a proper chance.

I don't know whether Kojima is able to purposely damage it's own game, now the budget is another story entirely. I can see that Kojima has purposely went over budget with MGS 5 to piss Kojima off.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar
