On to the SNES tiles being N3DS exclusive, what Nintendo says has to be true, or there is another good reason. Why would they limit the SNES titles to the 50 million O3DS owners, just for a few 10 million N3DS owners?
And I highly doubt it's to justify the N3DS. It doesn't make sense as a business.



Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

i agree, also i really hate having to buy a Wii controller to play Wii games on the Wii U. The Wii has plenty of games where the gamepad would work fine including all the Wii virtual console games which i havent access on

I totally agree with this, although some of the more mobile games, like Pokemon, wouldn't really work as well for Wii U.

The WiiU can run GC games if Nintendo put a little effort. It has Wii hardware, right? The Wii's a tweaked GC. Surely it wouldn't take all that much to program a little bit of code to make a GC VC on the WiiU.

The thing about pure software emulation though is a bit different, but that depends on how much effort is put in.

Yeah, the Wii U GCN situation is definitely different.

IMO, while the problems with VC are not THAT big, they build up to the point where it is a huge gigantic problem.

Cross-play between both platforms would be very nice, but I'm not losing sleep over it.

I have other issues that make no sense to me, though, like the fact that there is apparent input lag for N64 games on Wii U, and even SNES games IIRC, which is completely unacceptable.

The fact that GBA games are not avaliable on 3DS (excluding the ambassador titles) just baffles me. I wanna play Fire Emblem: Blazing Sword on my 3DS, because it was a PORTABLE game, not on my Wii U. :/

The New 3DS and SNES thing also sounds like complete bull. You expect me to believe that Nintendo can't develop stable SNES emulation on a handheld that can run games like Kid Icarus Uprising and Resident Evil Revelations?

I always loved Virtual Console ever since its debut on the Wii, but the service definitely needs a lot of polishing for the next gen.
