But asking them to sink endless amounts of money to get the same results they are seeing now is also begging "what's the point?". Why should they keep sinking money into a pit that isn't doing them any solid favours this gen and look like they won't even near the end.

I dont think that create a subtitles requires that hella amount of the resources, but u have some point in ur logic. Remember, we talk about the most anticipated X1 only game, not some indie stuff. I think it's still worth it.

My English is not very good ( u can see it ) or very bad ( I hope so ), but I dont think I will be personally able to play this game and understand 100% realtime. Of course I can pause game etc. but this is silly for me.

I meant people can learn English while playing, it's useful language. I don't always understand every word while playing but I get the big picture though. Of course it requires some knowledge on the language but I'm sure most gamers in Poland know the basics.

I was more on about the number of units being bought from an area that isn't doing so hot for MS. It's like them having a stake in Africa but they only sell a few thousand or just a single million out of the entire country, from a business pov that's a waste and I can see that.

Don't get me wrong, I think they should provide those subs, especially since Poland gave us Witcher 3, but the way things are going for MS this gen makes me wonder why they should even bother trying "harder" at the same race they have been trying to win 3 gens now, not a single gen has been outright won for their side and I can now see the endless pit of money they've just lobbed money into, if I was still working there or ran the place, I'd be mortified.

There are the gamers that said " no problem for me " but they are in minority. Some people with good eng simply boycott the game - they dont care, I dont care scenario.

Here in Spain there's a succesful PC publisher that releases all their games fully translated, FX Interactive. They launch the games for 19.95 € and then drop the price to 9.95 €.

Are you telling me that they can do that but MSoft can't? Of course not! It's just that intead of hiring professional dubbers (is that even a word?) like FX does, they would hire known actors, making the whole process a lot more expensive for no gains.

Just u to know, games here are 2-3x more expensive than in the West ( if we talk about purchase power, its like 160 $ ( one hunder sixty dollars) per new game for US gamer ), so of course the userbase is smaller. Will one ever buy new game for 160$, new console for 900 dollars ? And not even getting subtitles ?

If MS give up our market - let them be.

Witcher 3 ? - CDP has a press-conference today morning, they sold 20 ML Wither's games already, strong profit, they are interested in VR but waiting the technology to adopt, also some talks about their possibly new RPG game.

But can they do it just for X1, their console and not PC?. Can they reclaim a lot more money and territory without sinking millions upon millions of dollars more?.
