Which will have a better 1st week

Horizon Zero Dawn 165 77.10%

No Man's Sky 49 22.90%

It's a full game with AAA support from sony. Because it's made by a indie dev doesn't mean it deserves less money for a retail copy around it's release.

Exactly! Why does an indie developer deserve less money just because of what they are? The amount of content in NMS most certainly deserves the $60 price point. Most AAA games could only dream of having as much content as this game claims to have (trillions of planets to explore and whatnot).

As far as sales go, I think both games will be pretty close to each other, just depends on which game is bundled more. If NMS is everything that it appears to be and lives up to hype I could see it take the lead though.

Amount of content? We don't know how much content No Man's Sky has.

I find it funny that many people here will end up purchasing a ton of software for their consoles/PCs and then get skittish when the price of a game with seemingly unlimited content is consistent with other full games. I'm all for getting a good deal but I think there will be a ton of value in No Man's Sky.

Not saying that they dont, but customers see value in other aspecs of a game. Like story, wich this game has none. Vissuals, wich this game has low. Gameplay, wich this game has shown very little off. There might be tons to do, but nobody has  confirmed that all of it is enjoyable. Personally I canot play a game withoout a story, so for me this is not worth even $10. An indy studio will never satisfy all the categorys and please every gamer, so I can understand people complaining. While I understand some praising the game for cuz it has what they love.

You see indie and you think it's worth less than full retail price. That what it boils down to. We don't know how the story is or how rich it is or how much focus is actually put into it. Then the souls games don't have much story but a lot of people think they are just fine the way they are.

Every indie is a "full game" and idk what you imply by "AAA support" but yeah, $60 for this game is too rich for my blood though. Another reason I think Horizon will easily outsell it.

Though, I assumed this was strictly PS4 vs PS4.

Why is $60 "too rich" for ya for this game?

Just from watching the vids (if you watch any vids), you can tell that it has alot.

Not really. I have destiny cuz they where giving it away when I bought a ps4, I would never buy that no matter how manny millions where thrown in to make it, I hardly played it. Cuz its not my type of game. I would never even for free, play a sports game or multyplayer shooter no matter how big the studios are. But the souls game are prooben to have content and good gameplay, I would buy it in a heart beat if it where the type of game I like. No matter the price. So dont judge people cuz they dont like  certain game you dont and are unwilling to pay top dollar for it.

It takes genuine talent to see greatness in yourself despite your absence of genuine talent.

Of course Horizon. Better graphics, more intense monsterhunter-like gameplay. Also the setting is interesting.

I think both will do very well but horizon is far less controversial in game terms. It looks like Sony is also investing in a lot of horizon merchandise and is trying to build a big franchise with it. I am buying both and look forward to their unique experiences.

That's different because it's geniune preference. There's been plenty of people knocking NMS for it's price because it's made by an indie dev.
