I think No Man's Sky because it's the much more accessible game.

Horizon, and quite easily I think.
It's a much more appealing genre, and will likely see tons and tons more marketing.
Plus, I just saw NMS is $60. LOL! Guess I will GameFly instead of buying.
My bet is on Horizon, i see my self buying that day one but No Man Sky is still a maybe for me. Many people, with or without reason, did complain about NMS price, so that is gonna affect first week too. Horizon is the safe bet.

It's a full game with AAA support from sony. Because it's made by a indie dev doesn't mean it deserves less money for a retail copy around it's release.

Horizon: Zero Dawn. This is mostly influenced by me having no interest in No Man's Sky and being super hyped for Horizon.
Signature goes here!
Horizon by far. It's not even close for me. At $60, I'm unsure if I'll even buy No Man's Sky at all, wheras Horizon has me seriously considering picking up a PS4. It's everything i look for in a single player game.

I'm the other way around, NMS was on my wishlist from the very first reveal trailer and I have zero interest in Horizon (I go as far as to consider it personally, from everything I've seen so far, a dissapointment as Sony's first in-house attempt at WRPGs), but I still think Horizon will do much better sales-wise, being in mainstream genre and Sony's 1st party exclusive.
I like NMS but I usually like niche games so I am a little baffled that it gets so much hype. I have a hard time seeing the gameplay in it, but personally I am OK if there is only exploration.
HZD looks to me like a western attempt to make a Monster Hunter game. MH has not had very much fortune outside Japan.
I think NMS will do better as it is probably coming with PSVR.
