Just because Capcom plans to support SFV for awhile doesn't mean gamers will run out and buy the game. Many here justified the exclusive deal with Capcom's supposed dire financial straits, with the game failing to meet Capcom's expectations sales wise I'm not sure how they continue supporting it for years. They're going to fall back on their word about not making any Super Duper editions. It might stay off the Xbone console, but those releases are coming. There's no other way for them to recapture the casual masses who have shunned the initial release.

You only get one chance with those people and they are either interested, or they aren't. And good support after release doesn't mean much, look at Driveclub or the Xbox One. TR will get a large shot in the arm this year when it releases on PS4. SFV sales in the future as Capcom continues to support it will be heavily discounted copies and used copies.

This means that the game will  still sell years after release, people will see Capcom giving support to it and will see the Capcom's tournament  and this will sell more units.

I Doubt  they will release a Super Version after they stated that there will not be a Super Version, Street Fighter V did 70% of what they expected the game don't underperfomed this much.

This isn't how  it works, tell for me why the Multiplayer would die if More than half of people who purchased it on Steam are active players ?, Street Fighter will have better legs than Tomb Raider, Xbox One's Install base and fanbase of Tomb Raider isn't enought to ensure a win.

What other game would steal fighting games fans ?, Mortal Kombat failed on PC even with 600 thousands units sold no one play it anymore, the only game that could steal the ground of Street Fighter is Tekken.

I'm thinking in Life-time sales of both games Capcom will not stop support for this game and will not release another version this game don't sold what Capcom expected but this also doesn't means that what they expected was the exact number of sales to make profit, Street Fighter V, need to sell 3-3.5 Millions until December 31 to surpass the success of the previous game and  because the bad launch is too soon to say if this game will fail or not.

It is when you factor in limited multiplayer support because yes all multiplayer titles are supported for a number of years and then they case to exist, SP titles on the other hand can be picked up many years later and played/bought.

YOu keep using limited numbers and claiming they will live on forever more over the numbers for a single player based game that is going to be sold across 4 platforms vs just two.

YOu keep using the "it sold thousands of copies and yet it was bad but it did well", the short of it is that it didn't do well, not when you compare it to what is currently being played on Steam with more players and more money made.

Exact profit or whatever you want to goal it as, they will still be outdone by SE and 4 platforms over 2.

This can go on forever but the fact of the matter is that one will be sold on 4 platforms and can be played for many, many years, the other is only sold on 2 and has a very limited lifepsan.

Tomb Raider  will sell on 4 Plataforms but 2 plataforms that don't usually play Tomb Raider or any game of the genre, and other Plataform that isn't doing half of what PS4 is doing now, do you Expect the Xbox 360 to sell a lot more of Tomb Raider, or for people after Years purchase Tomb Raider ? there will be other games and just a Extremely high quality game sell well despite of the year, like Skyrim, GTA, Tomb Raider will sell in more plataforms than Street Fighter, but will have less legs and the other 2 plataforms don't are the Fanbase of the game, PC, and PS4, are the fanbase of Tomb Raider.

And Street Fighter isn't a fully Multiplayer game, the game have/will have Story Mode, Arcade Mode, Local Multiplayer, and other things, the game isn't like TitanFall 1.

Trying to muscle the other two out to mkake it a 50/50 summary isn't going to make SFV come out on top forever though.

Was SF always played for it's ground rbeaking totally memorable story?, was TR rememebred for whatever multi/co-op it ever had or will?.

Also Skyrim and other games SP wise have great legs, practically a lot of MP only games or MP focusded games have a defined date of death and a definited number of sales and users, an SP game can just go on and on.

Dota, Counter Strike and other multiplayer games still sell, and Street Fighter isn't only Multiplayer.

Do you think 30 years ago people played Street Fighter because of the online matchs ?.

CS:GO, DOta 2, not Dota 1 and regular CS, those two which are now behind the current two. What of SFIV, Tubro, II, II and even 1 these days, where are they now?.

I'm sure every single eprson who buys SFV only buys it for the SP.

What do you expected from a game with Multiple Versions ? Street Fighter V Will only have 1 version.

Talking of the franchise in general, not multiple versions of the same game here, just like how I was on about the original Dota from years ago along with original CS.

Dota isn't a franchise, Dota is a single game.

Dota also never had 2 games avaliable at the same time, but franchises like Diablo, Warcraft, The Sims, aways had.

So now we're moving to franchises only?, I'm talking originally of MP games, games with more focus on the multiplayer aspect of the game, games known for their multiplater part.

There was Diablo 1, then came 2 and 1 died off, same with 2 when 3 came around and once 4 hits the same will occur once more. Also when was Sims online only or multiplayer based?.

You're still trying to argue for the sake of arguing that SFV>TR>4 platforms. Like I said before, this isn't going to go anywhere at all ebcause I flat out disagree, I've disagreed since you first quoted me.
