Forums - Nintendo - Anyone else completed Twilight Princess HD yet?

Replaying this game in hd made me appreciate how great this game is, i couldn't stop playing it because it's just so much fun. I just finished it in 23 and a half hours, i played it for 10 hours on friday alone. I didn't 100% it, just did the stuff i could remember from previous playthroughs so i ended up with 18 full hearts, found 18 bugs and 28 poes and payed malo thousands of rupees to get malo mart up and running so i could buy the magic armour and i didn't bother entering the cave of ordeals because i remember it being a bit of a chore.

After all these years i still think TP is right up there as one of the best zelda games. I would put it above wind waker and skyward sword and just below Ocarina of time as my favourite zelda game. I also think the hd remake has made the game more fun to play because lets face it the game looked butt ugly and now while still dated it does in places look extremely beautiful to look at (especially zora's domain in the daytime).

I just got the game yesterday. If I had the time to, I'd totally marathon a large portion of it. It's been a blast, since I haven't played the game in what has to be at least 6 years. Definitely reminding me of why I loved the game so much the first time I played it.

bet: lost

No. 10 hrs in and have only reached Lanayru Province. Going 100%.

Proud to be the first cool Nintendo fan ever

Number ONE Zelda fan in the Universe

DKCTF didn't move consoles

Prediction: No Zelda HD for Wii U, quietly moved to the succesor

Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile

Not even close. Having a lady who wants to be around you ALL THE TIME (not really a bad thing) means you can't play Zelda as much as you want. :(

Done the main game, but i have about 11 poes, 3 heartpieces and quite the amount of stamps left to find.

Now go 100% hero mode with the double damage Ganondorf amiibo effect active

Damn you already beat the game? I'm surprised but you probably are not the only one.

Last week was my spring break. I tried to beat the game by today, but I am at the final dungeon, so I will have to wait until the end of the spring session.

TP is a good, possibly great game. It has some of the best dungeon design in video game history. They're immaculate. However, the bosses are way too easy. I am playing on hero mode, which actually feels like the way Zelda games should be, at the very least. Truthfully, the games should be more challenging but with hearts that drop (no heart drops in hero mode), similar to ALBW. Playing the Souls games has really spoiled me. Zelda doesn't need to be as tough, but there needs to be a midpoint. It's ridiculous.

I find the story and plot to be pretty boring, but it is at the very least sufficient.

The bosses are really well designed, but again, way too easy. The giant spider boss, for example, is sooo good, but it dies in 3 hits. What a waste.

It just always feels like something is missing when I play this game. I cannot really pinpoint it, though, which is conflicting for me.

Still playing it when I can. Don't always have the time, sadly.
