It's the only place I can play Bayonetta 2, Mario Kart 8, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze, Pikmin 3...

I'll get the PS4 mainly because it's getting LOTS of J-RPG's: Kingdom Hearts III, FFXV, Persona 5, Dragon Quest XI, Ni no Kuni II, FFVII Remake, Star Ocean 5, World of Final Fantasy, Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth etc. and also to play The Last Guardian and Ratchet & Clank. Overall I'd say for the japanese 3rd party support (mainly in the form of J-RPG's )and some first party games.

I will get the Wii U if Zelda U doesn't come to NX or if the NX version (if there's NX version) for some reason is inferior.

Brand loyality, but that results in exclusives, too. I mean that as in I like Japanese games, and Sony has always had the Japanese games I want with their home consoles since the PS1, so PS is the most logical choice for me. Same reason why I own Nintendo handhelds. Best of both worlds if you love Square Enix for example, especially as a Kingdom Hearts fan. lol

OT: I bought an xbox one for Halo, Gears, Titan Fall and Forza. Sunset overdrive is a great game that suprised me and Im ok with killer instinct. I'm not the biggest fan of fighters.

The ps4 I bought for naughty dog games. Can't wait for uncharted 4.

Wii U - Exclusives. Nintendo continues to innovate in ways that no one else does. I'm consistently surprised and delighted by the content in their games. PS4 - Exclusives again. In reality, I got a bonus at work and had some money to burn. I'd be perfectly content with Wii U otherwise. I'm now catching up on games I've missed out on over the years like the uncharted series and last of us. Looking forward to some of the exclusive RPG's for sure.

Skipped Xbox One due to the lack of exclusives that interested me. Which is a shame because I enjoyed Xbox 360 a great deal.

:o believe me I'm sure it's great but I'm not paying that price. I own a few games for it already, just waiting for that $149 price point. I have plenty to play.

I forgot I also own a pstv. Bought it for persona 4 then I soft modded it to play all vita games. I need to buy another that's not modded to download all my ps+ games.

That was easy. And way more credible for your research than forum polls.

Very flawed logic. I bought my 360 with CoD and SFIV. Did I buy it for CoD though? Heck no.

I bought it for Halo 3 and Gears.

My sale counts for all 4 of those games, but my intent of buying was for exclusive.

I bought my PS4 with Destiny and CoD. Did I buy it for 3rd party games? Heck no.

I bought it for Infamous, Uncharted, Disgaea, Persona, etc.

My sale counts for Destiny and CoD right now but not for games that have not released yet.

I have played Destiny and CoD maybe 10 hours combined compared to 1000s on exclusives.

 

OT: Clearly I bought the console for exclusives.
