I don't have anything personal against Reggie but I'm hoping the new president, who worked at NOA for years, replaces him and a lot of his team with people who know the US market better. Nintendo has declined a lot in the US since Reggie took over and he should be held accountable.

My wish? Bring back Howard Phillips. That guy knew games.

If you're going to hold Reggie accountable for the Wii U, which failed everywhere, then you also have to give him credit for the massive succes s of the DS and Wii U in the US.

This is a "what have you done for me lately" business, unfortunately. 

Bill is simply better with the format, and has the time to do it compared to Reggie. Reggie always has the PR voice to him whereas Bill sounds genuine most of the time, even when spouting obvious garbage like "some of you were confused by Federation Force, but it deserves to be a Metroid game."

Probably a case of appeal :v While Reggie may have brought some memes upon the world, he isn't exactly a face you would like to see for a lot of time continously, meanwhile, Bill is more nice-looking and is not so prone of making everything into a PR stunt. So Bill ends up being a better face for the Directs, nicer, better looking, and even and can weirdly sound fake, but natural at the same time, pretty much the opposite of Reggie.

According to you perhaps.  Nintendo however, for better or worse, is not an especially reactive company.

They were under Yamauchi. My hope is the new president more like him.
