This is certainly a good way to fund the site. I won't be supporting because I don't think the value of the benefits justifies the price, but I may change my mind later if the number of benefits increases. $2.50 a month for the cheapest tier, means $30 a year and that seems a bit high for me. Maybe you should give a discount for an annual membership. Perhaps it could costs $15 for bronze, $20 for silver, and $30 for a gold membership for 1 year.

There is a rebate for an annual membership. Bronze tier costs $2.50 if you take it one month at a time but it costs $18 for a year which amounts to $1.50 per month.

I guess I should add a flashy "40% off" icon next to the 12 months price.
