Apparently Japan has the summer Olympics at 2020! It would be Nintendo and Universal's best interest to have this ready before then!

Oh for sure, I think that's exactly why they're aiming for 2020.
The Olympic Games are a major city's equivalent of winning the lottery! Tourism rates absolutely SKYROCKET during the Olympics, millions of people all over the world gather for it, who in their right mind WOULDN'T cash in on that opportunity.
Nintendo needs make a serious A+ effort with International Olympic Committee to be a headline sponsor for the Olympic Games.
