It's not even released yet and you are disappointed they are asking for full price?

Yes I just did.

It is probably the biggest game ever made and is still beautiful and full of diversity in both flora and fauna. 4 unique languages and almost limitless varieties of spaceships and equipment. Out of curiosity how much do you think it is worth?

It is bigger than Mass Effect or GTAV for instance.... so they must be, what? 10 euro indie games?

Didn't we already know it was June? Makes sense.

Although I'm more concerned about the price. I'm hearing rumours it'll be a full priced game? I expected £25, not PSN RRP priced at £50 (because they don't compete with high street stores :P)

Yeah, 60 dollars is going to kill this games sales, good game or not.

Well when the game was announced I was very hyped for it, an giant universe a lot of exploring and back then a 2014 release would have been great especially with so few software releases that interested me  and yeah like other I expected it to be a indie priced 20 Euro game and that was a day one purchase for me but since then I played so many exploration games Subnautica/Ark survival/elite dangerous and others who killed the hype and killed my hunger for exploration games and all of those games I got for 20-30 Euroish prize. Even as a 20 euro priced game I don't feel so much hype or interest for me personally anymore so yeah pity that it is 60 euro.  Basically it would be the same if a person likes to play Jrpg's and he is hyped for FFXV that releases this year in december(as an example) but because he played Star ocean V/Tales of Bersia/Persona 5 and other JRPG's he is not so hyped for FFXV anymore and than SE announces that FFXV is so big and cost so much that the price for it will 80 euro and the person's interest will probably be gone.  Ofcourse it can change and maybe I get it on day one but now my interest is nihil...

Tagged to watch these vids later. Thanks!

For the price of the PC collectors edition I'd say I'm not going to be able to buy it, even then the regular base game is £40 which is a bit much for me so I'll add the game to my wishlist and wait for a price reduction in the future. That said I would really love to see some actual PC footage sometime, like before release.

I do like games with generated content, NMS reminds me quite a bit of Starbound in the ways of generated planets, upgrading your suit, talking to aliens, trading, playing with others, though recently with SB you can create your own colonies, keep your own pets among other features.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

I'm psyched for this and so is my Dad, we'll both be pre-ordering.

It looks much grander/bigger than a typical 60 dollar game. Because it's made by a indie with big publisher supporting it, that it deserves a far cheaper price? That's crazy.

It's looking great. Definitely still interested!

It deserves the price that people are willing to pay. I may be wrong in the end, but I really think it's going to suffer commercially now.
