I would think the best games for VR would be horror games. While I'm not personally into them all that much, a first person horror game would be the ideal because horror games are entirely about immersion.

Turok because that was VR to me, as a kid.

Excite bike idea would make a wild ride!

Metroid Prime Echoes because the last half of the game is unbelievable.

The Elder Scrolls, what ever they release next (barring mmo) would be fun in VR.



If we are talking reinventing, then I'd love all of the 2D metroids and Ocarina of Time!

Yes I have! I've seen pretty much every review out there of every metroid game, prime is my favorite trilogy ever and echoes is my favorite of the 3

Metroid NES is my favorite game of all time and the Prime series gave it a professional upgrade. Wish they kept the hi-jump boots instead of going for space--jump boots but that's my only gripe. My favorite part of Metroid series is the way the secrets get hidden in the environment and when you see them you can't get them. You must gain abilities and remember where you saw the secret to uncover it down the road. Prime is so beautiful.

Yup that's a one of the biggest reasons why prime is perfect, but the other one for me is the how the story is told via the scan visor and the lore. What I used to do was scan everything I could, then after a while go to a save station and there read everything I scanned. And the lore is very well writen, from the space pirates from the galactic federation from the enviroment, it's just perfect.
