They do need a captain Toad 2, but it really hasn't been that long yet.

Says you! They should announce the sequel for NX as a launch title or I riot! I mean one person rioting will look bad but I'll do it for The Captain!

It took 12 years for Luigi's Mansion2 to come out. And even then, it came out on the 3DS. So, it's still 15 years and waiting for a console version...

I'm also still waiting for a proper Luigi's Mansion sequel. The original had so many memorable components (the music and bosses in particular), while the 3DS version just felt like a chore to play through to the point where I couldn't even finish it.

 

OT: The most painful wait is definitely F-Zero, followed by the Elder Scrolls. F-Zero GX is still the greatest, most action-packed racing game of all time, while Skyrim offered the definitive adventure game experience.

And then there's games like Knights of the Old Republic, Dead Space, Conker and Diddy Kong Racing, where the wait is likely to go on forever. In that sense they might be the most painful.

I know I might sound desperate, but the waiting until Xenoblade X was really painful to me xD
I know we didn´t have to wait for too long, but anyway, the hype I had for that game was huge and I needed it like yesterday
