Could we *PLEASE* remove off-topic from the front page?

I've asked about this before and maybe I'm just in the minority, but I get really annoyed at the various BS off-topic posts showing up on the front page. I don't have any problem if AoA, LeoJ, Soriku, et. cetera want to post completely off-topic stuff, but as I logged in this evening, 40% of the messages from the "Hot Topics" are completely off topic.

I can't believe anyone OTHER than those who post a lot in Off Topic want to see that stuff on the front page. When I come to VGC, I want to catch a few topics related to sales, gaming, etc. I don't come here to read about people's IQ, virginity, retirement age, body hair, sexual orientation, etc.

I really believe it belittles the site as well. VGC has come a long way in becoming a more respected site and having this garbage on the front page cheapens the site by making it seem, well, off-topic and immature.

My .02. Keep the change.

Yeah I agree a little. Maybe they could just seperate the 2 , but ioi stay on the front page. Like put off topic near the bottom , and video game related stuff to the top. That would be nice.

I have to agree with sc94597. Keep it on the front page but just further down. I just think it's been more obvious lately due to it being "that time of the year".
