Is this really unexpected though? The drought has been so long on 3DS any game for some Gamers will do. Well at least in AUS, i haven't seen anything appealing lately.

Think of it like prison. Locked up without any pussy. Depending how long you been locked up and how much of a sex addict you are, the quality of pussy drops that you willing to tap.

And yeah, this game is crazy popular that's trending in my area, way more than previous FE titles. Deserves it imo!

So does it apply vice versa if something like the PS4 has a LOT of games coming out within months of each other? /s

Because of Awakening, there is a greater fanbase for the franchise and fans have been hyped for this game (or versions of the game) since its initial reveal. You can't just dismiss that. Despite the controveries, it seems like some of the fans aren't moved by them and are still excited for Fates, whether they'll get Birthright, Conquest, both, or the Special Edition. In a generation in which Nintendo has struggled to follow-up from their all-time great 7th gen, FE finding new life after almost 25 years of being considered niche is something that they can at least be proud of (along with reviving Kid Icarus and Luigi's Mansion, 3DS hanging on despite mobile, creating Splatoon, an increadible hype train experience in Smash, to go along with their other successful games like Pokemon, Mario, Zelda, and Mario Kart).

Perhaps I don't know. 3DS news/comercials in the last 6 months in Aus anyway has been non existant.

I did however get an SMS today telling me Bravely Second which I preorded months ago released today though. So things are looking up now I guess.

This seems to be the mindset of third party publishers who dump crappy ports and crappy games on Nintendo systems. It doesn't work that way.

I agree. the crappy games on shelves make you not want to look for the good ones. Probably part of the reason why to me it appears like there is nothing new.

Yeah. Were getting Bravely Second, Hyrule Warriors Legends and maybe another one before FE Fates. 3DS users will have lots to choose.
