5 minutes? 5 minutes? But there's so much to discuss. The Pokémon Red/Blue VC rereleases releasing the following day (surely these will at the very least get a mention), Pokkén Tournament, Pokémon Go and almost certainly a new 3DS game releasing in the holiday season. That's not to mention any general Pokémon 20th Anniversary news that they might have, and further mystical Pokémon events throughout the year (like the Mew event that happened this month).

Right smack dab in the middle of my school day >.> Hopefully I can watch this thing After school without getting spoiled. Either way I hve no clue why people are saying it will only be 5 minutes. As far as I could see no official sources have said that its only 5 minutes long. They have a ton they could talk about and I know they want to celebrate Pokemon's 20th anniversary in a big way. I'm hoping for a half hour and I don't care if they use that time to talk about games like Pokken Tournament.

It could be named Pokémon Z and be a sequel, like Pokémon Black 2 and White 2. Actually, I think that's what they're doing.

I'm wondering the same thing. OP said it's five minutes long but I don't see an official source which confirms that. If I've missed something, someone please let me know, but as far as I can see there has been no confirmed length for this Direct.

beeing the third title doesn't mean that the plot/game will be the same. They had a year more than usual. I'm shure we'll see some massive changes to Kalos, it could be anything:

-Expanded Region (hinted by the train in East of Kalos);

-New Pokémon (hinted by the ammount in XY and the Magiana announcement);

-Battle Frontier (teased in ORAS);

-new story (hinted by unfinished XY story, ORAS untied elements such as Locker's amnesia and the AZOTH plan, The Pokémon Company's Marketing director in the US spoiled it...);

-improved skates;

and more !!

Yup, I just saw the GameXplain video about it. But lets keep it in mind that our directs in NA or Europe could be longer since they might want to touch back on the history of Pokemon like they did with the X/Y reveal or something similar.

Nope, the XY Pokémon Direct was international, hosted by Iwata in English and subbed in various languages...
