while the GDC is at a good time to do so, if PSVR releases first half as promised, I think it's a bit of a weird occassion to announce pricing/date, as it's a developer focussed event with usually pretty sparse media coverage
ofcourse Sony can invite all the media they want present though
the structure of the event with a presentation and hands-on time after that is very similar to their other Morpheus/PSVR events they had before, which is why my intial gut reaction was more on the side of "same stuff as before, still no news"
The one thing that Sony has in their favour is bundles.
Can you imagine them putting a bundle of a PS4, VRset together and being the same price as Vive...
Anyway I hope they announce it, but wouldn't they do that as part of the normal GDC presentations?
