They still can go third party, I wouldnt mind. There is no place for a console without third party support at this time anymore. If they dont manage to compete with ps4 and xbox one again (powerfull hardware, good third party relationships) they probl stop making consoles.

So you are finally showing your true face. It's a masterplan to make Nintendo go third party.

If they arnt even able to make exclusive games anymore (and if zelda get ported to nx that wont be exclusive) there really isnt a place for a nintendo console anymore.

All you said about how it would make sense to bring the game to NX. Do you know what? It would make sense to bring the game to Ps4 and dont make NX at all. Tell me one single reason that would be a bad idea.

Much more sales for their biggest project yet.

Incredible sales on games like mario kart and co.

No hardware prodcution costs.

You are claiming you want nintendo to do buisness, THAT would be buisness.

You are the one that want nintendo to doom their own console. Not me.

Im saying Nintendo should keep making their stuff (on Wii U). Support that system till 2017/2018.

But if they rellay just make a new console and bring their biggest game to their next console, this will be my last nintendo console for sure. I paid 300 bucks for 5-10 good games. That the amount of good game the competition gets every year, and they cost the same.

NX release only 2016 if nx is something complete new to coexist with wiiu/3ds. otherhwise i wont care anymore about nintendo, i can play their best game on the wii u anyway.

I agree with everything Rol has been saying whilst I been sleeping haha.

Now to add what is this weak argument about it being too difficult?

If it is too difficult then Nintendo should die by the sword and fuck off out of the gaming industry.

They need to grow a pair and make NX the best launch they can, or we will get a Wii U 2.0 where a few fans love it.

That model is not sustainable forever a every gen that fan base shrinks.

Also think about it how many PS3 games got ported to PS4? They had some marginal success with new users. You think Zelda will be the only game that gets this treatment?

Finally Nintendo in house devs have worked with PowerPC before we all reached puberty. If anything porting a game to x86 will be a quicker learning curve then starting fresh as they will run into challenges and work out how to beat them.

i think about the adapatations to make the game work on NX. We dont know about specs, or if nx will have a second screen.
wii U gamepad would be mandatory on wii U version? if sothey can implement exclusive features for wii U game, and some people would like.

Btw, NX zelda U dont need to be on launch. Could be something like the last of us was on ps3/ps4.

Not too difficult. Will take to many time. Nintendo didnt even managed to give the wii u good software support in the past 3,5 years. And now they should waste time and port a game that nobody needs (because it will be on wii u anyway).

Hardware production costs aren't an issue when you don't sell the hardware at a loss. In such a case you are making additional profit. If you make your own hardware, you don't have to pay royalties to someone else. If you make your own hardware, you can collect royalties from other developers. If you make your own hardware, you can sell accessories for it.

Bottom line: You can make much higher profits from gaming when you make your own hardware.

Its not just the hardware production cost.

Selling hardware at a proft is wii u situaiton. Nobody will buy it because overprieced.

If NX is as powerfull as Ps4, nintendo probl need to sell it at 500-600 bucks.

Its not just the hardware costs (which would probl be around 300 bucks). But also warranty, services, development, advertisment, licensing, online architecure.

If they still wanna make a profit, they need to charge high prices = automatic failure.

Thats why iPhones get sold for 600+ dollars and the production cost is just 150. Thats how to make profit with hardware sales. Nintendo wont be able to do this. if you think they could, please explain how.

I am not buying the WiiU, but might buy the NX if nintendo does the hardware right for a change.
So I am hoping for NX port.

If your just buying for the hardware power get an ps4 or gaming pc.

If your buying for the Nintendo games, a wii u is alright, Games like Mario kart 8 are looking amazing.

I own a wiiU but it makes more sense to also release the Game on NX. And I LL get it on NX because it will be the best of both version.
So why would I get it on WiiU???
As for the idea of the NX port slowing down the release, it s already happened.

If the NX is useless for Zelda games then the WiiU is a disgrace. Lol.

The port is not going to "damage" the game, it will only damaged the WiiU. A DEAD console. Nintendo should focus on the future. I want the NX to be successful, don t you?

Sorry but all your reasoning is deeply flawed and just reeks of desperation for something that you don t have any control on.
This game will be on NX, or not. Whatever happens, Nintendo fans should be the last ones to give a crap, because we ll be the only ones who owned a WiiU and will buy a NX. So who cares if we ll get it on one or the other. This debate is pointless.

don't you think they would have delayed Zelda U into 2016 anyway

Thats exactly what im thinking, The game didnt looked like a 2015 game in the game awards footage back in dec. 2014. Thats why I also doubt they dont have enough time/ressources to handle 2 version (PowerPC based Wii U Version and X86 based NX Version) for an 2016 release. All their ressources probl need to put into the wii u version to get that one finished in 2016.
