A good price drop and a good bundle would have done wonders. I really think that if you added Zelda U, we would have seen something special happen. Nintendo just didn't want to gamble on it and turning around Wii U.

But we already got price drop and good bundles this holiday season, and yet sales were on level of previous year. With Zelda U Wii U would sell probably around 1.5m better, but also without Splatoon sell numbers would be much worse. Wii U is very long in such a state that nothing really cant make big difference and turn around Wii U, Wii U basically died after first year. Nintendo realised that after launch of MK8, with MK8 Wii U start selling much better, but overall again those numbers were very bad, I think Nintendo than decided to go forward with NX and shorten life of Wii U.

I think the mistake he made was that it sounded like it was "Nintendo" choosing him to reveal the information. He clarified in the comments that it was a source within Nintendo who didn't want the rest of the nintendo to find out who it was who came to him.

Very unprofessional in my opinion to call his information as 100% true, since any information that dosent come from any company from the industrie is a rumor.Can be true, but this is a rumor, no matter how trustworthy your source is.

is is 100% fake like always.
really there is not a single logical reason any nintendo employer would risk his job to give information to an unpopular youtuber. all those leaks were always false.
Also he didnt even mentioned pokken as a wii u release.

No more Wii U games from nintendo...

Wii U dies in 2016 (support wise).

 

Like everyone has been saying:

Everyone has speculated this would happend.

NX launching 2016, barron game year for wii u, because theyre working on NX titles, Zelda U comeing also as a NX title.

 

Its not really a crazy rumor or something, its what most think will happend.

I'm going to be very pissed if true. The Wii U should have its exclusive Zelda. Nintendo can recoup the investment on a remake for the NX sucessor.
