SRPG's, I also research and experiment to find the best techniques to win battles, or levels.

My worst is 2D fighers(not SSB, more like SF, VF, DOA, Tekken, etc.)

Not bagging, just an honest query, how does one decide that they are good at RPG's, given the non competitive nature of that genre? I haven't played many RPG's so just looking for your perspective.

Diablo 2, Guild Wars, World of Warcraft, etc... RPG's are not non-competitive by nature, but by design. There's plenty of action/RPGs and MMORPGs to test skills.

It's harder to see how good you are through single-player RPG's, but there are some points you need to have to be called a good RPG player:

- Dot not become indecisive when making a choice ingame- Someone who can't choose a path to play and stick with it is not good at RPGs. They're the type of people that get overwhelmed by 'sandbox' RPGs or RPGs where there's alot of freedom (mainly western RPGs). This is common when a light-RPG fan starts playing a real RPG.

- Do not have Level grinding as main tactics- Anyone who uses Level grinding as the main tactics is a dumbass. 'nuff said. Level grinding should only be used as last resort.

- Do not use walkthroughs... unless you're trying to get boring grind shit such as gems scattered around in the game, or you're stuck on a boss you tried so much to kill.

I like to think of my self as a pretty adaptable gamer, i can pick up, play and be pretty good at most games, but certain genres i just get schooled by my mates. However when it comes to driving games i'm still waiting for a serious challenger.

What genre/s of games do you have mad skills in? And give something to back up your claims.(no empty claims such as made by OP;))

Really? Me too, are you getting MK WII???? If you are, let's race...and we'll see who the TRUE racing champion is...

I will definately be getting it but unfortunately the challenge may have to wait a while as i'm in China at the moment and my internet sucks.  Should be back in Oz by end of the year though.

I'm also hanging out for a F-Zero Wii announcement, the cube version  was one of the more challenging games in the last few years.

RPG

I can get into any game and actually do fairly well, but I'd say my best would be platformers.

I seem to be pretty good at Street Fighter 2, even after all this time. Problem is that if I play for more then say an hour, my fingers stop working for me and go numb.

I use to be really good at Super Mario Kart for the SNES. I downright suck at the DS game though... I get owned so bad at it LOL.

Prepare for termination! It is the only logical thing to do, for I am only loyal to Megatron.
