Why not give people the choice to decide?

It's just a sad trend. On principle alone it's wrong. If games are art, then stand behind the original artist's vision. These small things add up and really get annoying. Fanservice exists in anime/manga/jp games since always and it's part of the charm they have and how thet differentiate from western games. Anyways, i'll play and surely enjoy the game but it just leaves bad taste in my mouth knowing this type of shit is going on

Might as well remove all optional features completely. They're hardly enjoyable, amirite?

It might not seem like much, but they keep censoring little things and eventually they'll think they can get away with censoring anything and censor more important stuff because it's too risky for the west. Just leave it like the developers intended and there will be no problems.

I doubt the split was caused by localization trouble or optional features. That business decision was made long, long ago.
