Selling half the amount of units the PSP sold would have been an achievement in this day and age, but alas, it did not happen sadly. Great console.

I have a Vita since Dezember 2014, when they were on a huge discount sale. I played some games with them, owning a few retail games and some digital stuff (like the old final fantasy games). I'm playing every day on the train on the road to work, so for me, its amazing to own a vita. While the 3ds is great too, i used to vita more during the last months.
The best moment.... hm, thats difficult. I really enjoy Persona 4 Golden at the moment, does this count? :D
Happy birthday vita, I really love this console. I have only played few of the great games. Uncharted, gravity rush, persona 4 golden, soul sacrifice, blazblue continuum shift, dead nation, sly Cooper thieves in time, muramasa, dragon's crown, hot shot golf, virtual tennis, velocity 2x,killzone mercenary, spelunky, steamworld, luftraisers, rainbow moon, mod nation racers, motorstorm etc
Psp games like monster hunter freedom unite (500+hrs),ghost of Sparta, gran turismo, ys seven, prinny 2,Wipeout
Still there is a huge library which I want to play and many more yet to release.
I don't understand people saying it has no games or only Japanese games on it.
I was there day 1 for this bad boy. I still use it more than my 3DS. Some great niche titles in addition to all the free PS Plus games and the PSX/PSP games for it means I spend a the vast majority of my handheld gaming time with this.
Beautiful screen, too. (at least on the initial release)

guiduc, I question this moderation. That's a legitimate question that, honestly, should have been in the OP.

Pretty much this. Can't believe I've had mine 4 years in a fortnight.
Biggest highlight for me really was the thrill of playing Jet Set Radio, a nigh on perfect port of one of my favourite games of all time on a transatlantic flight.
Then on a similar note, just the ability to have a true console experience in games like Need for Speed most wanted on the move in places I had no access to a home console.
The PSP never quite delivered on it's console on the go promise but the Vita delivered fully at least from a hardware perspective. It is criminal that just as things were getting amazing with the likes of killzone mercenary and tearaway, it was taken away from is just as fast.
The systems transition into the ultimate localisation machine and indie box has also been a fun time, but alas my hunger for console quality on the go was taken away too soon!

Well i don't see them design and release an entirely new handheld system no. But the hardware of the PS4 is much more mainstream compared to previous playstation consoles, so it should scale down better. So there is a chance that they can downscale the hardware to mobile size in the future. A PS4 in handheld size with by then a huge library would be pretty interesting i think. |
Even if it was possible, it would be very expensive. So it won't happen.

Great piece of hardware, just wished it would've been supported better. I gave mine to my bro who put in many hours in Soul Sacrifice. I beat Uncharted, and Mortal Kombat was hella fun. Also just like the PSP, PSOne classics were cool to take with me.
