Forums - Nintendo - If NX had a shared library but they were NOT integrated to use together, which of the systems would you buy?

Which NX hardware would you buy?

Home console 43 49.43%

Handheld console 11 12.64%

Both 27 31.03%

Neither 4 4.60%

I'd want both, simply to mix and match what games I'd want to play on the go and what games I'd want to play at home. Though if I had to choose one, it'd be the home console.

I'd probably end up buying both consoles anyways, regardless if a shared library is integrated or not.

It does have its uses. Though a shared library for me would probably make me more interested in a different handheld. Get different games and experiences.

It's all good, you can choose both.

Uh.  I'm not sure how you're not understanding that the word "like" is used to designate an example and can mean one of several.  I've also said that I don't really want another handheld.  Reading back over my posts, nothing seems ambiguous.  I don't really get your problem.

Being "more interested" in a console when a console now has all the games you are interested in keeps things very ambiguous (except for Metroid). If those games weren't interesting enough to get you to buy a console this gen (3DS) then what's the actual likelyhood they will get you to buy an even more expensive console next gen (NX)? I'm simply saying that a Nintendo console may not be your prefered console of choice regardless of three series (or several of a similar series to that of Fire Emblem).

Holy bloody cats.  How do you even ...

Whatever, you win, you've successfully talked me out of wanting to join the Nintendo community.

It isn't about winning, it's about reality.

I'm assuming the games would still be cross platform for online play. I'd probably just buy the home console.

e=mc^2

Gaming on: PS4 Pro, Switch, SNES Mini, Wii U, PC (i5-7400, GTX 1060)

More than likely. Let's just say yes.

Then yup just the home console. Pokemon on the big screen!

Pretty sure a TON of people would be extremely happy if this happened. I know I would be. ;)

I'd get the home console for sure, never liked handhelds and only owned one in my entire life (Atari Lynx). Just don't like gaming on small screens.
