Forums - Nintendo - New Twilight Princess HD Trailer (NA): "Game Features"

I know what some of you are thinking: "Oh boy, another one of these." I do think that it's a solid watch.  Lots of new footage and some good shots, a few explanations, etc. Looks good, especially if you've never played TP before and are on the fence.

They have been very active releasing trailers for this game, we are certainly not getting a Nintendo Direct this month.

Honestly, I don't think one is coming until either Star Fox or the NX unveiling.  They really just don't have much to announce, unless they want to do one for the new club Nintendo.

I don't think that there will be a Nintendo Direct this month, but I don't think these trailers rule out the possibility. The way I see it, it only means that Twilight Princess HD probably won't get a spot in any possible Direct.

Agreed, a final 3DS/Wii U focused Direct in April then NX reveal in May/June.

Directs aren't just for announcements though, but updates also. They could give us a title for Zelda U and show us some actual gameplay of it for the first time in 14 months. They could give us an English title and Western launch window for SMTxFE.

I think that Zelda U will be an NX title, so they'll want to save it till then.  Even if it's not cross platform, they'll still want to save it for E3 just to have some Wii U presence.  Nothing else really seems important enough to hold a direct for.

I can understand Nintendo seeing it that way. I don't agree, but that's the underfed Wii U owner in me talking.

Pretty nice watch. At least they are clear about what the amiibo do and in explaining everything including Hero Mode. I kind of wish we could have a double damage mode without the flipped Hyrule but eh I guess they decided to put that "Wii Mode" map to good use somehow.

I rarely preorder video games but I actually decided to do so with TLoZ: TP/HD! I only played about 10 minutes of the game on the Wii so it'll be a new experience for me on the U! I don't have any amiibo's but I really want to buy the ones that will assist me through the game, especially since I'll own the Wolk Link amiibo now! I'm so looking forward to playing this definite edition of the game!
