2015's january, the PS4 sold like 800k units, this year its probably a decent bit higher (over 1m).

The PS4's 35.9m sold through numbers, with another 1m ontop and it should be around 37m, right?

So the Xbox One should be around 23m is what hes saying, if these "around 60m" are sold through numbers hes refering too.

So maybe a split of 38/22? Sounds a bit much for one month to reach those numbers.

They didn't sell 5M in January, lol.

Key word of the day is "Around". Probably between 55M and 60M worldwide now, if these articles are right.

Yeah, I'm betting that they're rounding the numbers up. I'm more inclined to believe EA's 55mil number as of January 1st and there's no way PS4+XB1 sales were 5million the last 6 weeks. And an average of 30mil+ a year for the next 3 years seems a bit optimistic IMO.

He said around, so I'm guessing 59M. PS4 is probably at 39M, which puts XBO at 20M. That's shipped, of course, so PS4 is probably undertracked here, after we add in the past few weeks, and XBO is overtracked by quite a bit, as it will be at or over 20M when the last few weeks are added.

It could refer to shipments or they are doing some weird rounding game to reach that figure :).

These are all "estimate's". Either way, I believe its around 37 million PS4, and 20 million XB1.
