I have no faith whatsoever in anything Sonic related. Its like if they had Colonel Sanders decaying body and they just carried it around on a stick. Eventually, it starts to smell like ass and you never want to see it again.

Considering Sonic Rush is awesome, I fail to see how that's a problem... seriously, people who say there hasn't been a good Sonic game since the 90s clearly don't own DSes.
Looks a little bland. They need to make the scenery more rich. Granted this is probably still WAY in development. I prefer 2d sonic with only one exception. And that exception was on the dreamcast.

S:SR for the Wii was a good start into making a 3D Sonic actually FEEL like Sonic, instead of a platformer thats trying to be Sonic, and this game seems to look at the sales success S:SR was compared to the Sonic game on 360/PS3 and said hey people liked that system of doing things, now hopefully they'll put more time into then they seemed to put into S:SR and we can get a game that does Sonic justice finally.
Someone needs to hound Sonic team to not try to get it done fast just polish it till its done I don't care if its delayed a whole year just polish the damn thing.

If this is multiplat it'll be intersting to see the sales as so far this gen Sonic has only found success on the Wii and if you look at Sega's games on the Wii the 2 best sellers were developed for that platform in mind all ports and multiplats haven't been as popular.
It'll be intersting if this game follows the same pattern as I feel Sega are trying their best to get that success they had with the wii to all platforms but I think by the end of this gen these type of sonic games will only be released on Wii / DS.
looks okay, has potential. I won't be picking it up though. I also reckon sales on Wii will be greater than its sales on 360 & PS3 combined.
