I couldn't finish the first one because of a game breaking glitch that happened right at the middle of the game (Gamecube version), which has tainted my apreciation for this franchise. :(

What was the game breaking glitch o.O?

I don't remember it exactly (I played it over 10 years ago), but it had something to do with Jade's partner. He wasn't where he was supposed to be, which made it impossible to advance.
