According to VGChartz, it is just above 71 million!  (of course we don't know when Sony will discontinue the PSVita, while Nintendo is getting ready to move on)

Actually, i find it the opposite.I mean, yes it did get smaller, but with the gigantic competition that it has agains mobile, it still managing getting those kind of numbers is impressive.And 70-75 million 3DS sales are excellent.Taking out the DS, it is basically on par with the sales of the other handheld generations.The only real letdown is the Vita sales, which is low by any standard.It should have sold more, it really deserves being a really good system

Mobile wasn't as dominant 4 years ago as it was now.  The 3DS did good but the market did shit.  And I expect another big decline.  

You can minus off about 15m straight away from next gen because the vita will sell that this gen and it will have no successor.  Plus whatever decline the next Nintendo handheld has.

85-90. It will depend of the release of the handheld NX and how long is Sony going to keep the Vita around.
