Because porting a old game is much much easier (esp the way nintedo do it, theyre pretty lazy about ports)?

Basically its cheaper and faster, and nintendo need that.

Also fighting games need to last, no one wants figthing games to be replaced too often, because of the amount of time it takes to learn them.

Poor Sakurai needs a break. Smash Bros 4 already took a lot out of him, and there is still plenty of life left in this Smash. The new characters coming soon will continue to breathe even more life into this jam-packed game O:

Bandai Namco did a real good job with Smash 4. Looking forward to see if they will port the game, or make a completely new Smash title.

I predicted this a few months ago, gotta find that thread, most of people didn't find it to be a good idea...

This is very interesting. I would take a port of Smash 4 with all the DLC on NX. I know everyone's saying this but I really can't wait to see what this NX is.

I'm guessing the titles are most likely multiplats rather than NX exclusives but getting Bandai Namco bringing there third party titles would be a great start.

If this ends up being true and the SSB games is a port of 4 I hope they include more than just the dlc characters like a new game mode and maybe some additional characters

This, Mk8 and Splatoon are the ones speculated to have an NX version.

Nice, hopefully it's true. I want to play Smash 4! Plus, Namco working on several games is great news indeed.

I don't doubt it, Namco is getting closer to Nintendo and third parties tend to invest on new hardware... at least during its first year. Then they see if their investment paid off or not.
