A couple of days ago I met an old friend . I used to hang out with him every day , and we where best friends for ~3 years , but then I went to another school , moved away and we slowly started to hang out with others . When I met him again , the first thing we did was a multiplayer Warcraft 3 match ... man that brought back many meories .

Anyways . I was just wondering , do any of you guys have some " ex best friends forevers " , and if yes , tell me how much where you inseperable , and since when did you lost touch with him .

I can say that I had 3 , but my moving from town to town , or in one of the cases my friend actually went to Spain , killed all of them . We still mail to eachother now and then , and meet up once or twice a year , but its far not the same .

PS ( for kingofwale ) : now it sounds a bit better :P

I moved around a bit too, friends can always be made, I rather not think of the time where I miss my ex-bestfriend.

I know what you mean , I dont like remembering old times much neither , but it just hits you unexpectedly ...

Yeah I had some really good friends when I was little, but then we moved away when I was 9 or so and contact just kinda dwindled down. Haven't really spoken to them in years. Another best friend I hardly speak to anymore either, since a year or so, also because I moved. Ah well, these things happen.

Yeah , I know , I hate when I have to move away ( and because my mothers job as a doctor we had to many times ) . It seams that I may move away again next year ... man this sux :(

 actually I don't, hunter.. you tell me. ;). Any closet you want to come out, I mean, I'm from Canada, so I'm pretty liberal by nature. *wink wink*

lol, Well, yeah, I rather suppress all the 'unpleasant' memories of mine. And look forward to make new best-friends. I know it's not healthy, but I've learnt to live with it.

But yes, I know what you mean. People do grow up and grow apart, that's what humans are. 

For example I hate it when an old friend just apears on my messenger list as online . I usually dont even say hy . I try and think of them as if they are dead , but small signs like this always reminde me of them . I to try and live in the present , with new friends , but it feels weird every time you " move on " .

Its not as bad as " OMG my relative had just died on me " but it still hurts sometimes .

And man I hate the emberasing moments when you meet them again , and they ask you : " why havent you replyed to my mail " , or " why didnt you called back " . Man those moments are anoying :P

True friends remain close forever no matter what. That's the most important thing, not the time you spend together.

If only that were true.
