My cat is extremely affectionate, makes little noise, is clean, requires base care, and loves playing.

When I have to take care of friend's dogs they are good dogs, but they smell and bark and require daily walks and medicine. I don't dislike them, but I'd never trade my cat for them.

hold on...... something is missing here

I've always had and loved dogs, so they're my pick. Cats are cute too though. xD

Always prefered dogs. Though never had the time to care of one...

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

I much prefer dogs but don't mind cats. Though given my girls' last experience with a cat I doubt they'll be asking for one again any time soon.

I prefer dogs by a lot.

I used to have a dog but he died last year RIP Arnold (1999-2015)

I don't own any but I used to own both, I'll admit dogs are much more loyal than cats. Whether you like to admit it or not, cats are noway near as intelligent as dogs and the fact is they only stay with you because they see you as the person who's feeds them. Cats simply use you for that reason, the minute a stranger family starts giving your cat food which it prefers and does it regularly that cat will go to them and never think of you again. This happened when I was younger, my parents bought an expensive cat (a Russian blue) cost them £600. Turned out a family new of this breed and wanted it themselves, they started feeding the cat aswell (we didn't know about it till a neighbour told us) in the end the cat didn't come back for 4 days and we finally found her in their garden sitting on the step waiting to go in the house! We got her back and the family tried to say they thought it was a stray so started givin it food (pure bullshit). But it shows how loyal cats are, basically they're not.

A dog on the other hand is more intelligent and genuinely will grow a proper bond with its owner, once that bond is there it will follow and listen to that person, it will stay by their side until it dies.

Both cats and dogs can abandom their owners especially if they are not spayed and neutered.

Neither. They're both smelly, messy, and often destructive, and in the case of dogs they're obnoxious because they bark at everything. They're wastes of time and money. And there's no point getting attached to them because they might only live 15 years tops.

Seriously, you don't know how much fun can be having a pet.

You can get laid even when being terrible with women, for starters.

You can't be terrible if you're being laid... You're... Resourceful!

Have three cats, and prefer cats. Though one of them is a Bengal and if you want a cat that is affectionate it is, but its also bat shit crazy

I can handle cleaning up after a cat, but dog poo... gah its like human excrement... horrible

Making an indie game : Dead of Day!

Prefer cats don't mind dogs. Used to have various rodents as pets when I was kid also, out of those my favorite would be Guinea Pigs.

I personally like Pigs.
