The people who knew about the game beeing in development originally wanted to announce what game it was on Mondey, tough a lot of people asked them to tell them what franchise it was so they said it was Paper Mario on Saturday... we'll probably have to wait until E3 to know if it's true or not...

Legend has it that he's the one that went to Intelligent Systems and ordered them to water down Sticker Star.  I assume he still has that power, especially seeing as that was only a few years ago.  Even if he's not a producer he seems to have this superiority thing at Nintendo where he can make any decision.  But I can't say anything for sure.

It'll be funny if Nintendo notices the "leak" and then is like "Ok, let's change the whole aspect of the game and not release it on Wii U."

If it is real It will get announced soo enough. The leak was supposed to come out on monday but they got impatient.

This rumour was about Nintendo is working on Paper Mario U and that they will announce that rumor in monday (but they announced rumor before monday), not that Nintendo will announced Paper Mario U, so basically rumor was about that Nintendo is working on Paper Mario U.

No, there was never a mention of an official announcement. The leakers announced on Friday that they had evidence from 5 different developers regarding an unannounced Wii U game, they said they were going to leak the game itself on Monday, because they needed some time to look through the details. However, because of the huge demand, they already leaked the game on Friday instead of Monday. That's all.

Even if not now or soon, there will of course be another Paper Mario game, the series is too hot for there not to be. The only question in what style will it be, and this rumor didn't answer that so it really didn't mean much eitherway.

I'm not expecting an announcement until the E3 Digital Event. Maybe a little earlier since E3 will be all about the NX handheld.
