I'm confused on how people could re-rate this game when the virtual console release was just a release of the original game. Was GameSpot expecting better graphics or sound techonologies of a game that was just meant to be a copy of the original?

Um, actually, there's a pretty understandable reason why as, if i recall correctly, the game's rumble features were not supported properly in the virtual console release.

Hm...I'll check that out. But I don't see the lack of the rumble pack, which I didn't even have, would cause the game to go down in it's rating.

It would be pretty dumb to rate a retro game lower because of the graphics.. :s
