Yeah i did check my facts, did you read my article?
MS brought Minecraft and are bringing it to WiiU and also releaseing Story Mode (A separate game) to PS4 aswell. Would Sony do this if they arquired Minecraft? No they will support the game thats already been released on the consoles but thats it, they will most likely do a SF5 and make sure no one else can touch it, same goes for Nintendo. MS also release games on the gameboy something Sony wont do or even share there characters on Smash Bros, where as MS said they would if Nintendo wanted them.
Theres a big difference between the 3 corps. One doesnt mind sharing while the others are very greedy, the moment Sony or Nintendo have there name on something, good luck trying to play it without being locked into there hardware.
Just for arguments sakes. MS also release games on Steam, there PC rival, games like Ori and Halo Spartan Assualt and Strike just to name some examples.

Neither Nintendo or Sony would have bought Mojang for minecraft because it's more than likely to be a one trick pony. It's too risky. Most likely, minecraft being on all platforms was a part of the deal with Mojang just like how alot of the 3rd party exclusives for the PS4 end up on PC. MS is only saying that stuff because they know nintendo would never do any of that or call their bluff.
You really believe MS is keeping minecraft on those platforms out of the kindness of their heart when they don't even allow cross platform play between the xbox one/xbox 360 to pc/ps3/ps4?
Of course, MS will allow cross platform play in the near future between the xbox one and windows 10 supposedly but that's a far cry from what people want.
Just an example, since FF 14 ARR was released back in 2013, gamers from the PS3/PC have been able to play together and on the PS4 when the game was released on it in 2014. Sony has done that with other games.
