One doesnt mind sharing while the others are very greedy, the moment Sony or Nintendo have there name on something, good luck trying to play it without being locked into there hardware. Just for arguments sakes. MS also release games on Steam, there PC rival, games like Ori and Halo Spartan Assualt and Strike just to name some examples. |
I can pretty much guarantee that the contracts were already in place to bring the games to those platforms before MS acquired Mojang. There could very well have been pretty hefty penalties for cancelling those contracts that MS would rather not pay. Or - perhaps MS decided that since development was already started, it was better for their pockets to release it on those platforms than cancel those projects.
But, I bet you dollars to donuts that Minecraft 2 doesn't come to PS4.
