Also, I might be in the minority here, but I'm personally not a fan of the whole "Nintendo Kart" idea of having characters from all these universes.

A couple of characters are fine, like Link and Villager in MK8, I don't want them to oversaturate the roster with non-MARIO characters in MARIO Kart.

Besides, we already have Smash Bros. for our Nintendo Crossover goodness.

Made for the people who makes fake Mario Kart tracks hoping Nintendo will hire them someday (Bullet Bill Express and Double Cherry Avenue will be real, I know it!)

And thats it... Mario Kart is near perfection right now.

That's exactly what I think the NX will be.

you are still going to need hardware upgrades. there is no way around that. in 5 years, youre going to have dated hardware. in 10 years, its going to be even more dated. youre going to have to replace it at some point.

They can do much more to the franchise. More characters, they can go back to the "drilling underground" idea. more custom  karts and add more courses. Make the courses bigger.
