Why did I even start this list? For the record Galaxy 2 is excellent and should be higher but, as it was a direct sequel, it didn't have that new feel when I played it. Really, this list is an absolute waste of time as I consider all 9 games listed above masterpieces and, yes, that includes Sunshine. I didn't bother with the new Super Mario Bros sides rollers as I haven't played them yet.

I couldn't go earlier than vi as the only game I remember playing in its time was the original. Doesn't seem fair to rank those I didn't have firsthand experience with at the time.

I completely agree with your #1, I'm playing soul silver now and it's the overall best pokemon experience to me. I really need to try the mystery dungeon games eventually and you should really play Pokémon XD on gamecube, its the closest thing to a 3d pokemon world.
