Forums - Nintendo - Gunman Clive HD Collection Has Sold 9000 Copies But Has Still Made A Profit -RCMADIAX then says all but one one of his games have not crossed that mark as well!

well as long as if it's profitable it might get another one. Maybe he released the HD collection on Wii U so he can release 3 across wii u and 3ds. Or maybe he already say he is doing that :P

Just because its profitable, doesn't mean that is worth it. If its cost you 200$ to make a port, and you get back 205$, its is profitable, doesn't mean that there is no another options that would give you way more return of the investment. Besides, gumam HD is just a port, RCmax games are build from the "ground up".

"Hardware design isn’t about making the most powerful thing you can.
Today most hardware design is left to other companies, but when you make hardware without taking into account the needs of the eventual software developers, you end up with bloated hardware full of pointless excess. From the outset one must consider design from both a hardware and software perspective."

Switch!!!

I didn't even know about Gunman Clive 2, just checked and it's flopping on Steam. He should promote his games more.

He acknowledged that many people already have Gunman Clive on 3DS and probably wouldn't want to pay twice. I'm glad it's profitable though as the games are great

Which is even more amazing, that must mean that the 3DS versions did really well!

Especially the first one, which had sold over 400.000 arounf this time last year, with 80% of the sales on 3ds. Great numbers, especially considering it's a 1 man project. I think the 2nd one sold a bit less but still good.

I'm one of those 9000 persons! Great game, glad it is profitable at least. Is really weird that the wiiu collection has sold 10 times more than GC 2 on steam...
