I just wanted to throw out there this gut feeling that I have, I don't know if someone else like SE or Microsoft/Nintendo will show it off in case they'll get the game after Sony but I feel like knowing that the game won't come out this year and that Sony has so many other games that'll release in the second half of this year there is no reason to show it off, especially since FFXV will release this year and this Remake could easily outshadow it. 
Thoughts ?

I actually thought about it too just like you I don't think they will show a new footage until PSX, because of FF15. Which I Fully agree with you.

Final Fantasy VII Remake - A timed exclusive possibly being shown off at Microsoft/Nintendo booth...

Finaly Fantasy VII remake is a huge deal, it will at least be in the trailer.

well, two years in a row square enix appeared on Sony's E3 to show off FF7 remake. I don't see a reason why they won't do it again a third time to show us new footage on their progress..; but I'm keeping my expectations low because when it comes to square enix, you got to expect the unexpected.

Two years? as far as I can rememeber they announced it last year....

oh that's right. E3 and PSX got me confused. it was like 2 E3's in one year.

That's what I thought. I imagine they want to release it on the game's 20th anniversary.

It isn't a sony game, so of course it can be limited to square enix conference.

Sounds right. If SE is smart they will focus on XV only. They didn't show it in the last two E3 events. The game needs that kind of exposure this year.
