All answered by me. Recap:

 

1:Nintendo stated they were not going to talk about games years before release. Wanted to focus on next 6 months.

2:Investors are more curious about upcoming projects than things they already know about. Revealing the NX and phone apps/games are important enough to shift focus to that besides their last place console.

3:All the same people who are saying 2016 release are all guessing, the same as all of us.

1. And yet every major Wii U game was announced in that matter. Maybe they will do that with NX games that will announced at E3 this year. Fact is that we didn't had no one single announcement that are not small project, spinoff or port for 18 months tells us there aren't any new big announcements at all for Wii U (exept maybe Pikmin 4).

2. Guess what, mobile games, apps, and services and thing they mentioned are releasing this year, with them they mention NX also. If they don't release NX this year they will mentioned Wii U/3DS because there are core of their business currently.

3. Point is that Digitimes report, Wall Street Journal report and Nomura Securities are not random people, Digitimes has own sources in mainfacturing hardware industry and based on those sources they making predictions. Wall Street Journal is very reliable and they don't announcements some randoms rumours, they also said they had sources from gaming industry. Nomura Securities is very famous japanese based analyst firm that telling investors what they can expect. All those companies are much more informed than me and you, because basically that is their job.

 

1: And, when you are approaching a new gen, you gotta release info more carefully, still doesn't hint at a 2016 release. As previously stated this year's accounted for

2: Yes, they will ANNOUNCE NX this year...............................

3: I don't doubt there credibility, I doubt that anything on the internet stays a secret, ever.

1. They said they want to talk to early about NX because they fear competition could still ideas. There are some rumours that NDA about NX more strict than ever for Nintendo, especially with Wii U. Like I wrote they will probably do something similar like PS/MS done with PS4/X1, reveille in Q1/Q2 and launch in Q4.

2. They said they will talk about NX this year, that doesnt mean they can't release it this year, and they said that last year, they certainly couldn't said last year we are releasing NEXT next year and kill 3DS and Wii U sales instantly, and expacily when they said they want to talk to early about NX because they fear competition could still ideas.

3. They certainly have far more credibility than me and you. Point is that all three of them said same thing, NX is coming in 2016. Coincidence!? Dont think so.

 

1: Has nothing to do with software,which is what we are talking about.

2:Agreed, thy can talk about and release NX this year, I just don't think they'll do it.

3:More credibility, arguably. More actual info? No.

1. Has with revile and launch of complete new platform and software for that platform.

2. I don't think that 2017. isn't possible at all, but all points at 2016. launch.

3. If they all saying same thing that is info that saying that NX probably coming 2016.

My thoughts exactly. PS and Xbone fans probably aren't excited for Star Fox, but Nintendo fans are at least keeping an eye open (Platinum + Nintendo = must buy for me, W101, and Bayo were EPIC). Any Fire Emblem fan (with it's resurgence) is probably checking out Gekei ibun Roku #FE, Pokken Tournament seems like a great title (i don't think it will sell systems like Splatoon/Mario Kart 8 but...), and the icing on the cake Zelda U (secretly weeps) which is a master class in awesome only below (to me) Xenoblade. To Nintendo fans 2016 probably looks pretty good.

 

Oh, and Twilight Princess.

Wii U may or may not get replaced this year, nothing guaranteeing it but nothing stopping it anyway. what about the price? wii u could retail for $199 right now, and will probably do so later this year.

Doesn't matter what they do in my opinion. The console will fail if they wait till 2017, the longer it goes, the irrelevance continues. Sony and Microsoft have large user bases, Nintendo have nothing to grab onto and they should just stick to handheld and mobile.

2:Atleast we can agree neither is out of the question, lol.

3:But they aren't really, they are just saying actual production should start 2016, amd not even all of them are saying that. Some are taking wild stabs in the dark.

4 games, 1 of which is AAA? Sorry, but bullshit. They always knew NX was going to release next year, so all the big titles they had to worry about was this year. This was never a 2 year lineup.

It's never been about a Wii U revival, it's about releasing a good spec machine with some decent games at a decent price.

1. We will have prepared software for end of 2016. and 2017.

3. No, Digitimes have sources in component manufacturers and they said them that mass production of NX will start in 1st half on 2016. Wall Street Journal has own sources for their claims, same goes for Nomura Securities. It not just prediction, even it is just a that they have reasons why all they thinking NX will be launched 2016.

If the console werent going to launch this year, nintendo would have made it public to help wii u sales.

"Nx is not launching this year". And wii u sales wont suffer anymore. 

But they cant say that because it is launching this year.
