This prediction came to me when I first heard that the reason why Nintendo is releasing so many Zelda games is because they want to test out some features for the best game Zelda game ever. I believe these rumors to be true. They released Wind Waker HD to try out High Definition graphics. Release Majora's Mask 3D for the side quests. Ocarina of time 3D was just a remake entirely and has no connection to Zelda U whatsoever. Trifoce Heroes to try out online multiplayer and see what reception it gets. and POSSIBLY the 2 version of Hyrule Warrios to try out the NX hybrid handheld and console versions. It's a very risky prediction but it's a prediction I am willing to make. Producer Eiji Aonuma also stated Zelda U will "have a suprise twist" to the game. what twist can that be? There's really no twist when it comes to traditional story games. Unless he was talking about the PLOT, controls or gameplay. They already did a TERRIBLE twist with Skyward Sword with horrible motion controls. We don't know what the plot is, so why would it be a twist? I say Online Multiplayer will come up just like in the Far Cry series. I would LOVE to play with my friends playing a traditional Zelda game inHigh Definition graphics! So why wouldn't they consider it in the first place. Also, Mr. Miyamoto WANTED to create a Zelda game that will have other characters following you around, just like Xenoblade Chronicles and the Final Fantasy series. He stated this after the release of a Zelda game 10 years ago. So why wouldn't he want to add Multiplayer to his biggest Zelda game of all time? This is a prediction, I'm not saying it's going to happen or they should. Do you agree?

I think online multiplayer is possible. They are trying to rethink the conventions of Zelda, such as going on your quest alone, after all. What shape it could take is beyond me but Xenoblade X provides a pretty decent example for a few things they could do.

bet: lost

I will bet you it won't.

It may have some kind of internet functionality, but not in the way you describe.I bet it will be more in lines with Wind Waker HD, with the messages in the bottles and all.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

i know this is wishful thinking, but they really need to make the game online only. zelda needs to get with the times

i think its very possible that it could have multiplayer. They always try to do something different in them and it would be really cool playing together with friends. Who knows, the multiplayer could be bigger than the single player if done right (though i doubt it).

I think the fullest extent of onlien that Zelda will have is simple Miiverse posts, nothing more.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

I will bet you lifetime sig control that there is no online multiplayer component (with the possible exception of Miiverse/social media whatever posts).

Zelda is a bit like the elder scroll, there is no multiplayer that I can imagine in this type of game. They would have to build it around the multiplayer aspect of it and it would have been released that it would support multiplayer by now.

Not really. I think it will have some sort of online component, but not exactly pvp or something like this.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won
