I decided to try the game out(and watched the trailer before). All I can say is...huh.

After 15 minutes of gameplay, I will not judge seriously though. This is just my first impression of the game.

A lot of people were hyping up over the game, telling me how much I should play it. Of course, I decided to try it out(won't hurt me). However, the game is extremely strange. The gameplay, concept, and so on. The only thing that I don't feel confused about is the soundtrack(which is quite nice). I'm starting to wonder if I'm the only one confused about Undertale. Not a bad game, but very...well, different from other games.

Hopefully someone can agree with me. I'd hate to be the loner that isn't praising the game

You're playing the tutorial section. It gets slightly more normal afterwards (i.e. less handholding).

I will say that the game isn't for everyone and it's totally understandable to not like it. However, the game is only 6-7 hours long so as long as you don't actively dislike it, it's worth persisting a little as the payoffs are huge in story and mechanics development.

Oh, and the soundtrack gets far, far better than that.

I played a lot of it when visiting a friend. The game takes some very interesting choices gameplay, characterization and story wise. You are defintely not gonna understand people's hype about the game.

With that said, its ok if you play through it and end up not enjoying nearly as much as the majority or even disliking it. I wouldn't let that bother you too much. It might ruin your experience a bit whether you end up liking the game or not.

I thought it was prettty good. Not as great as how I think people are saying, but I can understand why they have that opinion

Actually, calling the game extremely strange and different from other games is not a bad description. That's why it deserves all the praise. That's also why it's not for everyone. You're not precisely alone on not praising the game. But, hey, it's 15 minutes, keep going and let's see if it keeps you entertained ;)
