Forums - Gaming - I've completely lost interest in console/pc gaming over the past 5 months.

Considering your age you'll likely come around again. I'm "much older" than you and throughout the years there are life changes, girlfriends, etc that kind of take you out of it for a while. Something will bring you back - a new game, system, etc.

2015 was the least I've played video games in a long long time, I'm 31 and started gaming at the age of around 9 and it's probably the least I've played since I was 18 years old. But funnily enough also in 2015 I played what ended up being my all time favourite game; LIFE IS STRANGE.

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

Video games are fun but sadly it's difficult to feel productive from them.

I lol'd really hard at this picture.

@OP - Just give it a while, however long that while may be. Leave VGChartz and stop playing games until you feel like you can stomach gaming again.

thanks, I'm glad I snatched a few laughs.

You're making a thread to tell everyone there are things you enjoy more than video games? That doesn't make sense.

I always have ups and downs per month.... where it's like one week I don't really want to play anything, the next I want to play everythng... and since I'm trying to get my backlog completed... as fast as possible, it's more difficult to play games. So I kinda just make myself play some every now and then cause I don't want a huge backlog.

It will pass, take some time off, and maybe try some board gaming if you have friends that are into that.

Its a good thing to expand your time and interest with positive activities, and if that equates to leaving video games for who knows how long, then good on you. Waning interest in video games won't exactly mean turning away from it. You'll definitely be pleased about taking some time off when you come back to it at one point
