After playing Metal Gear Solid on PS1 I got hooked on the series and when Metal Solid 2 came out I bought it on release day... I was happy and played the game from start to finsh but then a few months later Konami releases Metal Solid 2 : Substance with shiny new extras and leaves me with an inferior version of the game in my hands.
Since I'm not about to pay full price for a game I already own just for a few extras I let it pass by and forget about it. Then Metal Gear Solid 3 goes along and the whole f'ing scenario repeats itself with Subsistence. So basically being loyal to the series and buying the game on release always leaves me with the incomplete (or non-definitive) version.
So as the Metal Gear Solid 4 release comes forward, I'm thinking to myself... should I hold out for the inevitable MSG 4 : Subclearance (or something like that), so this time I get the full package? What's your take on these re-issue games?
