Forums - Nintendo Discussion - The wii needs more western support.

I think the wii is getting 3rd party support, but they seem to be all japanese. Yeah I like japanese developed games , but I also like western developed games too. One example is the lack of fps' on the wii.The wii has the second and in some cases the  first best fps controls , but nobody is utilizing them. I also see an absence of wrpgs on the wii. We see all of these jrpgs and some srpgs coming to the wii , but I haven't seen one wrpg. I could get wrpgs on my 360 or pc, and maybe some on the ps3, but I would like to see what they could do with the wii mote for exploration. I also want more fps' with these controls. So when people say the wii is lacking 3rd parties I think they mean western 3rd parties.

Did you say the wii needs twesterm!?

"Back off, man. I'm a scientist."

Your theories are the worst kind of popular tripe, your methods are sloppy, and your conclusions are highly questionable! You are a poor scientist. Especially if you think the moon landing was faked.

Opinion.
Lie.

Yeah... You're right it's lacking Western support although it's selling the most software and hardware in the west.... What the heck man are you serious when creating these topics or are you typing with your eyes closed?

I'm talking about hardcore games obviously. If anybody considered casual games the wii would have the best 3rd party. I like how you troll most of my threads.

I can't see why it does. My own experience with games made in the US is that they tend to be fairly tedious, boring, predictable, and inexplicably all star the same muscle-bound, grizzled, somewhat handsome short-and-brown-haired usually nameless protagonist. There also seems to be this on-going hatred of the entire idea behind video games in western development studios, that being to break away from reality and be fun without being confined to boring stuff like "realistic physics", "washed-out colors", and "dying instantly when you get ganged up on by enemies".

Or maybe I just have come to hate the western game design philosophies. That seems more likely.

Sky Render - Sanity is for the weak.

Your threads are flaud that's why I show up. And according to you and most others the Wii is a casual machine and was not designed for hardcore stuff, so why try for the hardcore stuff?

There are also some gems though such as Gears,Oblivion,Fable,Kotor,CoD,etc. I like japanese games better , but also like some western games too.

Edit: @ username How many threads have you been to that don't have flaws. ALso how is an opinion not allowed. I could have an opinion in the post, especially when the opinion is widelly accepted.

I don't care AT ALL about Western games. Wii needs more Japanese games (RPGs).

Um there are enough jrpgs coming this year. I don't think it needs too much more. Also soriku have you ever played a wrpg. It seems to me you like exploration well wrpgs have enough exploration that it will take you months to have been everywhere.

I reposted this just in case you missed it. I would also like to add that the second post isn't a lie , because isn't folklore and oblivion wrpgs.

I thought it was universally agreed that the 360 had the best FPS controls, that's what it was made for.

And pretty much all of the threads you make have flaws, and things you claim as fact, and thats something I hate when people take their opinions and push them on people claiming they are facts.

But anyways, the Wii has plenty of western support, like I said, its a casual machine so if your looking for hardcore you bought the wrong console.
