I think you'll find, not only will it be the best selling (by far I predict) it will also be the best of the series in general, it looks really good on the trailers. Definitely looking forward to this one.

the results also show just how big the difference between the two userbases is. if firewatch can beat gears then there is a big difference in the install bases of the two platforms.

Not like we have seen a lot from Gears of War 4 though.



My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

Guys, most voted means it was most voted. It doesn't guaranteed to sell better or be better received than the others. Just a hype vote. Yes, I'm excited for a lot of these titles but I guess NeoGaf has different tastes. Once Nintendo actually shows as much game footage as Horizon has shown, then I think there should be a revote.

I mean, we have seen 1 boss chaseing him, and some horse rideing and alot of grass. It looks good.... but Horrizons had epic looking gameplay elements and storylines, lore, much more impressive looking graphics ect.

 

Once Zelda U, is ready to be shown off, I hope nintendo put together a really epic trailer for it.

I know zelda will sell on its brand alone, its zelda. But those hype numbers from neogaf are telling too, currently nintendo havent done enough, to just silently release it and expect mega sales.

neogaf is a sony centric forum (like vgc, too) and ps games will always be in the top spots


2014:  3 out of 10 games ps exlusives and metal gear gz(sony centric franchise and ex ps exclusive)
2015:  5 out of 10 games ps exclusives and metal gear v (sony centric franchise and ex ps exclusive)
2016:  5 out of 10 games ps exclusives and final fantasy xv (sony centric franchise and ex ps exclusive)

Persona 5 was voted in all 3 years
The Order 1886 was voted in 2 years
Uncharted was voted in 2 years and even both years  #1
No Man's Sky was voted in 2 years

if one single game is "most anticipated"  for 3 straight years, even after being released, this kind of votes are useless.
and just show that neogaf member are mainly playstation fans and jrpg fans

i can tell you the neogaf most anticipated games of 2017 list  after e3 this year...



to be fair:
zelda and the witcher were also voted in 2 years in a row
