I'm not interested in another 2D Mario for a while, but a 3D Mario on NX that does something new with the series would be very welcome!

Been wanting a new 3D Mario for awhile.

Hopefully when NX is revealed, maybe we could get a tease at a new game?

I prefer 64 to Galaxy because the Galaxy games have linear level design and Mario controls a bit slowly and stiffly. I want big levels where I can search for Stars, and I want Mario to be quick and light on his feet like he was in 64.

Besides, I'm pretty sure that a new 3D Mario game was confirmed to be in the making a long time ago, so we'll see whatever thay have in store soon.

Just wanna say that if nintendo doesnt do a Mario 64 style 3D game, or a galaxy one, Im pretty sure I wont buy their console.

Ive had the nes,snes,gc,wii,wii u, gameboy, 3ds.

Super mario 3D world just didnt click with me, and mario is a big draw for the system, for me atleast.

I was thinking this, as well. If there's no new mainline 3D Mario game this year, then I fear we may have to wait until like 2018 for the next one. Remember the gap between Sunshine and Galaxy? 2002-2007, 5 years.
