Donkey Kong, Kid Icarus and Kirby? Hooray!!!!!

Now I wonder who is producing which game... Kirby should be HAL, and one of the other two games would probably be from Retro... I'd like to see how Retro handles the DK franchise, but there were hints that they are doing Kid Icarus. That would mean DK probably comes from EAD themselves, what would be somewhat good and somewhat bad because they showed with Galaxy how great they are at platformers, but they also showed with DK: Jungle Beat that they are able to produce a DK game with almost no DK feeling...

 The game was chibi robo for the DS since NPD didn't track it because it was sold exclusively at Wal Mart...if anybody really cares.

 Scared me for a sec when they mentioned VGC...there was a joke about something else with a "z"...

i really really really want a new DK platformer.

If all of this is true....meaning that Kirby is coming to the Wii THIS YEAR, Kid Icarus is coming to the Wii and this DK game for the Wii DOESN'T have anything to do with Bongos or anything and is a platformer then yes....Nintendo may have RE-taken the E3 crown from last years' E3 winner, Sony!!

Not to mention that Disaster game, the "RUMORED" Tecmo Bowl game as well as the usuals (Mario Party 9???, EA Sports, etc.) this year might be yet another good year for the Wii despite all of the goodness coming out for the other two competitors. Oh well.

All of you who hype Kid Icarus Wii... Has anyone of you even played the original? I haven't so I don't get the hype.

81 games over .5M and some are saying that they can't make money on it.

Nintendo puts out mostly easy to learn casual games (like Nintendogs which in its variations sells the PSP top 8 games combined, Brain Age).

Majesco gets a wild idea, make a game that would appeal to females and be fun. Cooking Mama is the top non-Nintendo DS seller at over 2.5M. No money to be made there. Game probably costed them oh say, $100M to make, and therefore no money to be made there.

Wait, you say it only cost $5M (or less) to make?! Why but that would mean that some companies can actually come up with an idea for a game to make money on the DS.

I have the old game on the original Game Boy. It's pretty fun. It's like the very first Donkey Kong, but more complex and a lot harder.  I still haven't beaten it to this day.
